The apartment is all on the ground floor and is spacious and comfortably furnished retaining many of the original characteristics of the building whilst being complete with all modern comforts. Its entrance leads to a large living room, which retains the original stone walls and brick archways, and opens onto the apartments garden area where there is a barbecue and table and chairs for dining al fresco. The living room has a comfortable sitting area with settees and satellite television, dining area with table and chairs, and fully equipped kitchen area, There are two pretty bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with twin beds and two shower rooms.

Close to the apartment is a large swimming pool (16m x 8m) which is the perfect spot for relaxing and taking a cooling dip. There are extensive views of the beautiful landscape dotted with vineyards and olive groves from every corner of the estate, and lovely country walks can be enjoyed.

Apartment Voltaire is situated on a large estate just over 2km from the pretty Tuscan town of Gambassi Terme which has a selection of shops and restaurants. Situated in the farmhouse are a further four apartments and in other secluded positions in the grounds of this immense estate there are two private villas, and the main building, originally a convent, where there are some rooms and a handy reception. Extra services such as cleaning, and breakfast can be arranged via the reception which also has an internet connection*. Inside the property the owner created a restaurant where you can taste Tuscany's typical products. Meals are served on request.

Many of the regions famous sights such as medieval San Gimignano, and Volterra are within easy driving distance and the famous cities of Florence and Siena can also be easily reached via nearby road and rail links.
