The estate “Wind”, comprises the owners house Foresteria, built in the 17th century, and two newly restored buildings, Villa Wind and Cottage Wind O. Both are furnished in a very modern style and are eco friendly. Using solar panels, wood burning stoves and fan coil unit.

Villa Wind is in a fantastic position with panoramic views all around. It is built on 3 floors.
Ground floor: very large living room with a 6-seater sofa, desk, satellite TV and a DVD player, bathroom with utility room attached, with washing machine. From the dining room there is direct access to the garden and private swimming pool area (4m x 8m), with sun beds, and a relaxing area adorned with cushions; gas BBQ and ice making machine.
There are 15 stairs to the first floor, which has a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom ( there is one step in to this bathroom), with bath and steam bath. There is also a terrace with stunning views.
There is a second smaller double bedroom also on this floor, with an en-suite hydro massage shower room. All of the furnishings are very elegant, modern, and of an extremely high standard.
On this floor there is also a very large, well equipped, kitchen, with a wooden work surface that covers all the appliances, a dining room with table and chairs and with direct access to the garden and to the terrace.

From the kitchen there are a further 17 stairs, leading to the second floor. Here there are a further two double bedrooms, the larger of the two has sloping ceilings and both have en-suite bathrooms with hydro massage baths and separate showers.
In the adjacent building the owner has created a small restaurant.

The estate is in a truly magnificent position, only 400m from the centre of Medieval Cortona, yet immersed in the beautiful Tuscan hills, with wonderful views, and in a great location to enjoy the local produce.
Easily reached by car are some of the beautiful Tuscan towns, cities and landmarks, such as Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and Lake Trasimeno. Not forgetting the cities of Perugia and Assisi in Umbria.

Villa Wind can be rented together with another private building, Cottage Wind O (4 or 5 persons) with its own swimming pool on the same estate, to accommodate larger parties. Both buildings share the same gate but have a different driveway into the estate.
