Mercantia 2017

Mercantia is a lovely local fair in the old town of Certaldo. You can either park in the new town and walk uphilll to the medieval quarter, or you can take the 'funicolare' railway uphill. There is a fantastic view from the old town and during the mercantia air there are stalls throughout the ancient streets selling local produce, mostly hand crafted ceramics, famous to that area and painted terracotta.
