Moonlight is an exquisite apartment situated in a fantastic position in the famous coastal town of Positano. Beautifully furnished in stylish Mediterranean style, the apartment has all modern comforts and air conditioning. A great feature is its lovely terrace from which you can enjoy the unique panorama of the whitewashed town and azure sea below.

79 steps lead to this beautiful apartment which dates back to the 18th Century. Now fully restored with immaculate taste, Moonlight has a beautiful spacious terrace enjoying gorgeous views of the sea and the town of Positano below. Positano is one of the most famous and lovely towns on the Amalfi Coast and in the past has inspired many artists awed with its beauty. Winding pathways and quaint streets host a selection of shops, restaurants, and elegant boutiques, whilst the lovely beach is the perfect spot for relaxing whilst listening to the gentle waves lapping against the shore.

A short flight of steps lead to a wonderful wooden door and the entrance of the apartment, which is all on one floor (some internal steps between rooms) with an intermediate level. It consists of a pretty sitting/reading room with settees, a shower room and above, a few stairs lead to a gallery floor with two single beds. There is a further sitting area with piano, armchairs, large picture windows with sea views and patio doors opening onto the terrace. Next to this sitting area is an elegantly furnished double bedroom with ensuite shower room. A corridor leads to the beautiful and spacious main living room furnished in tasteful style and featuring some lovely antique pieces. This living room looks out over the terrace and has a dining table and chairs, settees, satellite television and original fireplace. From here you access a fully equipped kitchen and a further double bedroom, also with ensuite shower room, which opens directly onto the terrace.

The large terrace (40 sqm) is a real highlight of the apartment, as well as enjoying spectacular sea views it is furnished with a lovely majolica tiled table and wrought iron chairs, in keeping with the high standard of the rest of the furnishings and even retains an original stone well creating a perfect spot to dine al fresco whilst watching the silvery moon shimmering over the water. Moonlight of course has all modern comforts including air conditioning, internet connection and washing machine.

This enchanting apartment is the perfect location for enjoying the combination of Southern Italy’s friendly town life, the beautiful seaside and all the stunning sights that the Amalfi coast has to offer. Picturesque towns can be reached by car or by local bus and there are ferry services to the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia. Further afield and well worth a visit are the archeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano, at the feet of the volcano Vesuvius, and cosmopolitan Sorrento with its maze of streets, with shops and pavement cafes.
