One Bedroom Apartment Conca dei Marini

Fiorello is a lovely apartment situated in a fantastic elevated position above the picturesque village of Conca dei Marini, a peaceful haven between Positano and Amalfi. Prettily furnished in Mediterranean style, the apartment has all modern comforts including air conditioning and a great feature is its lovely terrace, complete with Jacuzzi tub, which overlooks an amazing panorama of the azure sea below.

Fiorello is on the ground level of a whitewashed building so typical of the area, perched on the hillside above the fishing village of Conca dei Marini. Reached by approximately 100 steps and pathways from the coastal road, it’s elevated position ensures wonderful sea views. The apartment itself is comfortably furnished in fresh Mediterranean style and consists of a spacious living room with two armchairs (which convert to single beds on request to accommodate up to 2 extra persons), satellite television, DVD player, dining table and chairs and an archway leading to a fully equipped kitchen. The apartments living room opens out onto a lovely terrace furnished with table and chairs and enjoying wonderful sea views. There is a shower room with hydromassage shower and a double bedroom also opening onto a little terrace enjoying the same gorgeous panorama.

A few steps down from the apartment lead to a further terrace area below where there is a Jacuzzi tub, sun loungers, sunshade and table and chairs, the perfect spot for soaking up the sun and relaxing whilst savouring the lovely view over the sea. The apartment has air conditioning, internet connection and there is parking close by.

The picturesque little town of Conca dei Marini is a delightful fishing village boasting two lovely shale beaches renowned for their sparklingly clear sea water, and there are bars, local shops and a restaurant. A little quieter than other more famous towns of the Amalfi Coast, Conca dei Marini has retained its authenticity and traditions. It’s a handy location too for exploring the area, the local bus service reaches many of the coastal towns such as Amalfi just 3 kms away or Positano 14 kms.

It’s no surprise that this wonderful area inspired writers and composers such as Goethe and Wagner, as well as stars of Italian cinema all awed with its beauty. As well as Positano and Amalfi there are no end of lovely places to visit. Cosmopolitan Sorrento with its maze of streets, with shops and pavement cafes is a joy to explore, as are the archeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano, at the feet of the volcano Vesuvius. There are ferries to the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia and boat trips along the coast are organized locally.

Note: As the apartment is built into the cliff side, there are steps to the apartment and seafront. Therefore this property may not be suitable for persons with walking difficulties.
