Boccaccio is a pretty apartment on the first floor of a restored farmhouse situated in the heart of the Tuscan countryside close to the town of San Gimignano. There is a pretty swimming pool in the grounds and the apartment has its own area in the garden for relaxing and dining al fresco. Boccaccio is in a lovely area for country walks and well located for exploring the region.

The estate is composed of the main farmhouse which has been fully restored and is now divided into just three lovely apartments, and a detached barn. Apartment Boccaccio is comfortably furnished in typical Tuscan style retaining many of the original characteristics such as beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and fireplaces. There is a comfortable living room with kitchen area, dining table and chairs, fireplace and settee and two bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms. There is a pretty swimming pool (10m x 5m) which is furnished with sunloungers and sun umbrellas and the apartment has its own area in the garden furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco.

Medieval San Gimignano with its shops, historic monuments and excellent restaurants is only 10 minutes drive away, and many of the regions other sights are within easy driving distance. In addition the famous cities of Florence and Siena are easily accessible via main road and rail links from nearby Poggibonsi.
