Nine Bedroom Independent Villa Lucca

Villa Lucca is a splendid 15th Century Renaissance villa in a beautiful position in the hills near the lovely town of Lucca. The villa is very tastefully furnished with many antiques, original fireplaces, and one of its many lounges opens onto a loggia terrace with frescoes and archways which frame the countryside beyond. Lovely grounds surround the villa and there is a pretty private swimming pool both perfect spots for relaxing.

Originally the abode of the noble family from Lucca this beautiful country house has a rich and ancient history. Recently restored to its former splendour it is now a lovely private villa surrounded by its own well kept grounds. Much care has been taken to preserve the original characteristics of the house with high beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and huge fireplaces all being retained. The whole villa has been tastefully furnished in keeping with its historic style including many antiques and collectors pieces. Immense lounges and reception rooms provide plenty of space for relaxing and there is a large covered loggia terrace for dining al fresco. The villas original ornamental fish pool and fountain has been cunningly transformed into a private swimming pool (9m x 3m).

The interior of the villa is very spacious. On the ground floor there is a large living room with satellite television, a dining room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, three characteristic bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room, and a w.c. The first floor of the villa consists of beautiful reception rooms. The main living room opens onto the large covered loggia terrace, complete with archways and partially frescoed. There is a further dining room, a lounge with piano, a parlour, a studio and a w.c. Steps lead to a landing with a further lounge area and then to the second floor where there is a huge living room and six bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms.

Although immersed in the countryside the villa is only 15 minutes away from the lovely walled town of Lucca which is a joy to explore. Other jewels of Tuscany such as Pisa and Florence to name but a few, are within easy driving distance and the lovely coastline of Versilia with its wide stretches of sandy beaches is less than half an hour by car. Parking is in the grounds of the villa. Maid service (4 hours per day) included. Midweek linen change. Welcome buffet dinner on arrival.
