Campanelli R is a pretty apartment situated on a lovely farm in a beautiful countryside location close to the ancient town of Volterra. There are fine views of the verdant countryside all around with rolling hills dotted picturesquely with the farms own olive groves and fruit trees. There is a lovely swimming pool in a sunny position below the farmhouse, and tables, chairs and a barbecue in the pretty grounds, perfect spots for dining al fresco.

Campanelli R is situated on the ground floor of the farmhouse and opens onto the garden area. It consists of a pretty living room with kitchen corner, dining table and chairs, settee (which can convert to a double bed on request to accommodate extra persons) and television, two bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with double bed, and a shower room. Campanelli R is comfortably furnished in simple Tuscan country style retaining lovely beamed ceilings and terracotta floors so typical of this area, yet the modern comforts of air conditioning and Wi Fi internet connection (both payable locally) have been added.

The lovely swimming pool (12m x 5m) enjoys an unspoilt panorama of the countryside and in the grounds surrounding the farmhouse there are areas with tables and chairs perfect for dining al fresco. There is also a barbeque and a washing machine for guests use.

Tuscan country life can be seen and enjoyed here, the friendly owners live in another farmhouse close by and ensure a welcoming family atmosphere. They prepare breakfast on request, served in their farmhouses’ cosy little dining room nearby and are very proud of their biological farm which produces olive oil, honey and fruit.

There is a local restaurant just 2km from the property and a further selection within easy driving distance. The Campanelli farm is less than 15 minutes drive from Volterra, an ancient and interesting town perched dramatically on the hillside and surrounded by strikingly beautiful countryside with rolling clay hills and swaying wheat fields.

Volterra, as well as having an excellent selection of amenities, is lovely town to explore, it boasts an Etruscan museum, Roman amphitheatre, and many craft shops with local alabaster products for which the town is famous. In the summer months the town hosts many wonderful festivals, concerts and fairs. From this lovely location in the heart of the countryside many of Tuscany’s other sights are easily reached. San Gimignano is just half an hour away, and Florence and Siena are lovely days out. The Tuscan coast is only about 45 minutes drive away, if a day by the sea entices you.
