Scenic 1 is a pretty apartment on a lovely estate in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Beautifully furnished in country style the apartment is complete with today’s modern comforts and has its’ own large terrace shaded by a pergola. The well kept grounds of the estate are filled with flowers and there is plenty of space for relaxing around the large swimming pool situated in a stunning position above the house enjoying wonderful views of wooded hills rolling gently towards Siena.

The estate is composed of the main farmhouse and two detached buildings which have been recently skilfully restored paying great attention to detail into 9 beautiful apartments. Original characteristics such as beamed ceilings have been retained, and each apartment has its own individual character with pastel coloured walls creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Modern comforts including dishwashers, satellite televisions, WiFi fast internet connection (on request), create the finishing touches.

Scenic 1 is on the ground floor of the main farmhouse and has its own lovely covered terrace complete with table and chairs for dining al fresco. The apartment has a living room with kitchen area, dining table and chairs and sitting area with settee (which converts to a double bed on request to accommodate an extra 2 persons) and satellite television. There is a pretty double bedroom and a shower room.

In a fantastic position above the farmhouse is an exquisite swimming pool (16m x 8m) surrounded by a large sun terrace and enjoying lovely views of the countryside. There is plenty more space for relaxing in the well kept grounds of the estate, where there are also barbecues and communal laundry facilities for guests use.

The little village of Pievescola is just 3 kms away and has a handy local shop, larger Colle di Val d’Elsa with its supermarket and further amenities is just 15 minutes away by car and there is a good selection of restaurants within easy driving distance.

There is plenty to see in the area, both Florence and Siena are easily accessible via nearby road and bus links and many of Tuscany’s other treasures including the medieval town of San Gimignano and San Galgano with its roofless cathedral and sword in the stone are within easy reach.
