Three Bedroom Detached Private Villa Central Tuscany

Situated in a beautiful position on a pretty estate in the heart of the Tuscany with wonderful views of the verdant hills all around is Villa Cassiopea. Originally a barn, it has now been fully restored into a beautiful private villa with its own swimming pool and garden. Furnished in classic Tuscan style, the villa is fitted with modern comforts whilst retaining all its original characteristics.

The villa, which on two floors boasts gorgeous beamed ceilings and has a light and airy atmosphere, created by the large arched windows throughout. The ground floor consists of is a fully equipped country style eat in kitchen complete with large table and chairs, a washroom, two comfortable lounges, one with settee, armchairs and satellite television, the other with settee (which converts to a bed on request), all have patio doors opening onto the rear terrace which furnished with table and chairs and shaded by a pergola. Also on the ground floor a luminous corridor, which opens onto the garden and pool area, leads to a single bedroom with en suite shower room.

Steps from the main lounge lead to the first floor where there are two charming bedrooms one with double bed, one with twin beds and a shower room. Both bedrooms still retain original slanted brick characteristics on some of the windows, the larger of which enjoy pretty views over the estate. In front of the villa is its private garden complete with lovely swimming pool (8m x 3m) surrounded by lawns and secluded by a hedge. The pool area is furnished with sun loungers, umbrellas is the perfect spot for relaxing and the lovely patio in the garden is ideal for dining al fresco.

There are extensive views of the beautiful landscape of terraced land dotted with vineyards and olive groves all around and lovely walks in the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed. Also on the estate yet completely separate to the villa and with their own swimming pool are 5 apartments. Another building houses the little reception and a laundry room with washing machine. There is also Wi Fi internet connection, a built in barbecue for guests use and even a vegetable garden in the grounds where you can pick your own produce in season.

Villa Cassiopea is situated just less then 2km from the characteristic Tuscan town of Lamporecchio which has a selection of shops, restaurants and amenities, and is renowned locally for its famous for its ‘Brigidini’ wafer thin aniseed flavour biscuits. It’s a great base for exploring the area. Vinci, famous as the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci and with an interesting museum to commemorate him is just 7km away and Florence, Pisa and the coast are easily reached by car or via train connections from nearby Empoli. Even Siena and San Gimignano are only just over an hours’ drive away.
