Cassiopea Ca is a beautiful apartment on a pretty estate in the heart of the Tuscany with wonderful views of the verdant hills and olive groves all around. Part of a beautiful restored farmhouse, the apartment has its own large terrace and garden and there is a lovely swimming pool within the grounds of the estate.

The estate consists of a large farmhouse which has been lovingly restored and cleverly divided into five spacious apartments, each on two floors and each with their own private garden or terrace complete with table and chairs for dining al fresco. In a sunny position in the grounds below the farmhouse is a swimming pool (12m x 6m), the perfect spot for relaxing whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity. From all corners of the estate there are lovely views of the countryside and olive groves set in the terraced land so typical of this area.

Furnished in classic Tuscan style, Cassiopea Ca apartment is very comfortable, and fitted with all modern comforts whilst retaining many original characteristics such as beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The ground floor of the apartment consists of a pretty living room furnished with two settees (one of which converts to a double bed on request to accommodate up to two extra persons), armchairs and satellite television, a fully equipped eat in country style kitchen, and a washroom with basin and w.c. The living room and kitchen both have patio doors opening onto the apartments large private terrace, secluded by a hedge and furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco. Stairs lead from the living room to the first floor where there are two charming bedrooms one with double bed, one with twin beds and a shower room. As well as on the apartments lovely terrace, there is plenty more space for relaxing around the lovely swimming pool set in a secluded position in the grounds.

In a separate building, the attentive owners have added a little reception and a laundry room with washing machine. There is also WiFi internet connection, a built in barbecue for guests use and even a vegetable garden in the grounds where you can pick your own produce in season. Apartment Cassiopea Ca is situated just less then 2km from the characteristic Tuscan town of Lamporecchio which has a selection of shops, restaurants and amenities, and is renowned locally for its famous for its ‘Brigidini’ wafer thin aniseed flavour biscuits. It’s a great base for exploring the area. Vinci, famous as the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci and with an interesting museum to commemorate him is just 7km away and Florence, Pisa and the coast are easily reached by car or via train connections from nearby Empoli. Even Siena and San Gimignano are only just over an hours’ drive away.
