Borgo Guidi 4 is a lovely apartment on an small estate in the heart of the Tuscany situated on the edge of a pretty medieval little town. It has its own terrace and garden area and in a lovely setting in the grounds is a swimming pool with pretty views over the verdant landscape.

The estate consists of just five apartments in three houses set around gardens and all restored respecting lovely Tuscan country house architecture. The interiors are very comfortably furnished
and retain original characteristics such as beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and pretty brick detailing on some windows and terraces. Each apartment has its own private patio or terrace for dining alfresco and some also have fireplaces.

The swimming pool (14m x 7m) provides the perfect place to unwind in a lovely setting with views over the countryside dotted with vineyards and olive groves. The pool boasts a hydro massage corner which is also suitable as a children’s pool area. Within walking distance just less than 1km away is the little town of Cerreto Guidi with its quaint medieval historic centre and a selection of local shops and restaurants. In a separate building on the estate the attentive owners have added a little reception and there is Wi Fi internet connection for guests use.

Borgo Guidi 4, on the ground floor consists of pretty living room with settee, armchair (which can convert to a single bed on request), and satellite television, a kitchen area with dining table and chairs, and two lovely bedrooms, one with double bed and ensuite shower room, the other with twin beds (which can convert to a double on request) and there is a second bathroom with bathtub. The living room has patio doors leading to the apartments garden area which is furnished with table, chairs and barbeque for dining al fresco, and the kitchen/dining area opens onto a little patio.

As well as being within walking distance to Cerreto Guidi, the lovely town of Vinci, famous as the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci and with an interesting museum to commemorate him is only 5km away. Being located between Florence and Pisa it’s a great base from which to explore the rest of Tuscany’s jewels, these two lovely cities are easily reached by car or via train connections from nearby Empoli. Even Siena and San Gimignano are only just over an hours’ drive away.
