Villa Ghibellini is an secluded private villa in a wonderful position in the hills close to Florence. Beautifully furnished in a tasteful mixture of Tuscan antique style with modern additions, the villa is extremely comfortable and spacious. A highlight is the beautiful covered terrace which runs the length of the villa and is the perfect spot for relaxing and dining al fresco. Adjacent to the house in the lovely garden is a private swimming pool with wonderful views of the Florentine Chianti hills beyond.

The villa itself is built on the two levels. The ground level has a light and airy atmosphere thanks to the large windows and patio doors which open onto the lovely terrace and garden. Set out in beautiful open plan style with very tasteful furnishings and many antiques is the living area, which consists of a lounge area with stone surround fireplace and settees, a dining area with table, chairs and fireplace, and a further sitting area also with comfy sofas. On the same floor is a lovely kitchen well equipped with all modern appliances. A stone staircase leads to a mezzanine floor and the upper level where there is a pretty double bedroom complete with ensuite shower room. A second staircase leads to the master bedroom again with ensuite shower room and there is a walk in wardrobe. Each bedroom is decorated in a unique manner in very tasteful style and both have sloping ceilings and large automated windows in the roof giving a luminous feel.

Villa Ghibellini opens onto a beautiful covered terrace which runs the length of the house and is furnished with lovely wrought iron, crystal topped table, chairs, comfy garden sofas and easy chairs. The perfect spot for dining al fresco or relaxing whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside. The beautiful gardens are very well maintained and in a sunny position adjacent to the villa is an azure swimming pool (8m x 4.5m) for a refreshing swim. From the pool, gardens and terrace there are beautiful views over the estate. Villa Ghibellini of course comes complete with a host of modern comforts and facilities including satellite television, Dvd player, stereo, dishwasher, and internet connection (payable locally).

Although immersed in beautiful surrounding countryside, amazingly Villa Ghibellini is just 20 minutes drive away from the centre of the city of Florence. Siena and Gimignano are easily reached by car, as are the delights of the Chianti wine region. The main designer outlets are close by if you fancy a spot of shopping.
