Fiorino R is a pretty apartment part of a lovely farmhouse on a beautiful estate with wonderful views of the verdant countryside and the Castle of Poppi. Now fully restored the farmhouse, surrounded by verdant gardens, is divided into comfortable apartments all furnished in classic Tuscan style. In a panoramic position in the grounds is a lovely swimming pool with pretty views of the countryside and the picturesque town beyond.

Fiorino R is on the first floor of the farmhouse accessed by a typically Tuscan external stone staircase and whilst retaining all its original characteristics such as beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, is fitted with all modern comforts. The apartment opens onto a terrace area furnished with table and chairs for dining or just relaxing al fresco. The living area itself has dining table and chairs, satellite television, fireplace, kitchen area and an open staircase leading to a gallery floor above with a sitting area with settee (which can convert to a double bed on request). There are three pretty bedrooms, one with double bed and en suite shower room, the other two with twin beds (which can convert to a doubles on request) and a further shower room.

In the grounds of the estate is a lovely swimming pool (14m x7m) bordered by a sun terrace and surrounded by lawns, as well as a large gazebo and barbeques for guests use. There are wonderful views of the beautiful landscape all around with the distinctive Castle of Poppi visible on the hill beyond the valley.

Fiorino R apartment is situated on an estate just 1.5km from the picturesque town of Poppi with its supermarket, and good selection of shops and restaurants. The main farmhouse houses eight apartments in total and there are two detached cottages also on the estate. The attentive owners have added a laundry room with coin operated washing machine and iron for guests use, there is WiFi internet connection, and a communal room with large covered terrace area for events. The owners are friendly and helpful and happy to give useful hints and information about the local area.

The Casentino area of Tuscany, much of which is a national park, has many hidden treasures, the lovely local hill towns are a joy to leisurely explore and the main art cities of Florence and Arezzo are within an hours’ drive. Other wonderful Tuscan towns such as Siena, San Gimignano and Cortona are lovely days out.
