Four Bedroom Split level Apartment Chianti

Chiantigiana T is a charming apartment part of a rambling stone farmhouse in a lovely position on a hill in the heart of the Chianti region. There are wonderful views of unspoilt countryside all around in particular from the large swimming pool which enjoys a lovely panorama of vineyards and olive groves.

This lovely farmhouse has been carefully restored retaining many of its’ original characteristics such as terracotta floors, beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls and now forms just three pretty apartments, and a wing reserved for the owners. Each apartment is prettily furnished in country style with homely touches and turn of the century furnishings giving each an individual character and warm feel. They all have a garden area or terrace in the well kept grounds surrounding the farmhouse, so meals al fresco can be enjoyed whilst savouring the peace of the Tuscan countryside.

Chiantigiana T is a spacious split level apartment on two floors. Patio doors lead from the garden into the ground floor living room which has a sitting area with settee, armchairs and satellite television and archway leading to a dining area with table and chairs. On the same floor is a fully equipped kitchen which also opens onto the garden. Stairs from the living room lead to the first floor where there are three pretty bedrooms, one with double bed (an extra bed can be added here on request), another with a romantic four poster double bed and the third twin beds (which can convert to a double on request), each bedroom has its’ own ensuite bathroom. The fourth bedroom is at ground level and has its own separate access via the garden, this has a double bed (which converts to a twin on request) and ensuite shower room. The apartment opens onto its own garden area furnished with table and chairs, perfect for dining al fresco or just reading a good book.
In the grounds of the estate is a pretty swimming pool (15m x 6m) overlooking a lovely panorama of the Chianti hills dotted with vineyards and olive groves, a lovely spot for relaxing, soaking up the Tuscan sun or taking a refreshing dip. The pool is shared only by the three apartments on the estate and occasionally the owners family who have a separate wing in the farmhouse which they sometimes use at weekends and during holidays. There is a barbecue at the property for guests use.

Situated in a much sought after area of Tuscany in the heart of the unspoilt Chianti countryside Chiantigiana T is only 2.5 km from the pretty town of Greve in Chianti (approx 2 km of this road is untarmaced) which has a good selection of amenities, shops and restaurants as well as a bustling weekly market. It’s a joy to lazily explore the pretty Chianti towns, castles and wineries or just enjoy the wonderful Tuscan landscapes all around. The amazing cities of Florence and Siena, full of art and history are both within easy driving distance or can be reached via bus connections from Greve. San Gimignano and other equally beautiful sights of Tuscany are all within easy reach.
