Six Bedroom Private Villa Chianti

Villa Vincent is a beautiful 18th Century country villa perched elegantly on the hillside in wonderful elevated position overlooking beautiful Chianti countryside. Now carefully restored to its’ former splendour the villa is beautifully furnished with antiques whilst having all modern comforts. Villa Vincent is surrounded by its own grounds, with terraces for dining al fresco, gardens, and pretty copse of holm oaks providing a shady retreat. A few steps lead to a lovely private swimming pool providing the finishing touch to this lovely historic country residence.

Villa Vincent, originally a country retreat, has been in the family of the current owners for generations. With great care and attention they have restored the villa keeping all of the original characteristics and the spacious interiors are beautifully furnished with antiques and family heirlooms. The ground floor of the villa is composed of a large entrance hall off which is an elegant dining room opening into a kitchen fully equipped with all modern appliances. On the opposite side of the hall is a very large living room, with gorgeous archways separating the two sitting areas, both of which are elegantly furnished with comfortable settees. One of the sitting areas has satellite television, the other retains a rare original marble fireplace. Patio doors lead from the living room onto a terrace which is a pretty spot for an al fresco breakfast. There is also a shower room and washroom this floor of the villa. Steps lead from the entrance hall to the first floor where there is a further lounge area and six lovely bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms, and the other two share a separate shower room. The bedrooms have air conditioning and there is WiFi internet connection at the villa.

At the front of the villa is a lemon grove with a further terrace area with gazebo and large table and chairs perfect for dining al fresco and there is a barbecue for guests use. Steps lead up to the villa’s private swimming pool (10m x 5m) which is surrounded by sun terraces, lawns and bordered by majestic cypress trees, the ideal spot for relaxing and taking a cooling dip.

When you can tear yourself away Villa Vincent is a perfect base from which to explore Tuscany. Although situated in the heart of the unspoilt Chianti countryside the villa is less than 2km from the little town of Staggia which has a supermarket, shops and restaurants. Florence and Siena are both easily reached via main road links close by, and San Gimignano as well as other famous Tuscan towns are all within easy driving distance.The owners live on the second floor of the villa and discreetly maintain and service the property. Whilst not disturbing at all your privacy they are friendly and helpful. Cleaning is provided 6 days a week and continental breakfast is available on request (payable locally).
