Pietra Antica is a beautiful restored barn in a fabulous elevated position enjoying beautiful views of the valley below. The house, which is fully detached has panoramic terraces and a large swimming pool and is extremely comfortably furnished.

Pietra Antica has been very recently restored to a very high standard. Much care has been taken in preserving its original features. Beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, and slanted brickwork on the windows have all been retained and marry perfectly with the bright pastel coloured painted walls.
The furnishings have been carefully chosen, and pictures and ornaments adorn the house creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the height of the barn has been cleverly used to include a cosy gallery floor with a sitting area with woodburning fireplace.

The house, surrounded by olive groves has beautiful views of the countryside and the town of Montelupo below. Its terrace overlooks the same lovely view and is the perfect spot for dining al fresco watching the sun set on the horizon. A short walk leads to the wonderful swimming pool (10.5m x 7.5m) which has a hydromassage and is set in a stunning position just below the house.

Whilst being immersed in unspoilt countryside, this much sought after property is perfectly located for exploring the area. Montelupo, just 4km away, is famous for its locally produced ceramics and also has shops, restaurants and a supermarket as well as a rail and road links to Florence and Pisa. Other Tuscan jewels such as Siena with its notorious shell shaped Piazza, San Gimignano ‘City of the medieval towers’ and the walled town of Lucca are all within an hours drive. The grounds of Pietra Antica and the owner’s house are enclosed with access by electric gate, and there is covered parking.
