Six Bedrooms Villa Southern Tuscany

Situated in a stunning location in unspoilt Tuscan countryside yet within walking distance of a charming medieval hilltop town, Villa Lucignano is composed of two beautifully restored houses immersed in mature grounds with amazing views all around. There are plenty of lovely terraces for relaxing and dining al fresco and a gorgeous swimming pool in the garden also enjoys the pretty panorama.

The main villa is a beautifully restored manor house furnished very tastefully in classic Tuscan style, and equipped with all modern comforts including Wi-Fi internet connection. At the front of the house is a large terrace with table and chairs for dining al fresco and enjoying a lovely view. Patio doors from the terrace open into the ground floor of the villa, where there is a large living room which has a comfortable sitting area with settees and fireplace at one end, a dining area with table and chairs and fully equipped kitchen area at the other. On the same floor are two bedrooms, one with 2 single beds, one with double bed, and two travertine marble shower rooms. Steps lead to the first floor where there are two further double bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms and one with a balcony.
A few steps away from the main villa is a very characteristic stone cottage. Built on a slope on two levels and overlooking the swimming pool, this enchanting cottage has also been fully restored and is furnished in the same comfortable Tuscan style as the main villa. The upper level consists of a large living room with sitting area with settees, dining table and chairs and fully equipped kitchen area and opens onto a large terrace which stretches from the front of the house around to the side and enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and pool. On the lower level are two pretty bedrooms, one with two French beds, one with double bed and both with ensuite shower rooms. This level opens onto a beautiful arched covered loggia which overlooks the gardens and pool.
Mature gardens and lawns surround the villas and there is plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquility. The various terraces are the perfect spots for dining al fresco and there is a large swimming pool (12m x 8m) set in a panoramic position enjoying sweeping views of the countryside and valley beyond.
Villa Lucignano has the great bonus of being walking distance (500m) of the charming medieval town of the same name. This lovely town is a joy to explore in itself and has a selection of shops and restaurants. Within easy driving distance are many of the jewels of Tuscany. Siena with its shell shaped piazza and beautiful Cortona are close by, and Montepulciano, Pienza, Lake Trasimeno and even the Umbrian towns of Perugia and Assisi can all be easily reached. The main motorway link is only 20 minutes drive away, making also Rome and Florence easily accessible.
