Villa Guelfi is an exclusive villa in a wonderful position in the hills close to Florence. Exquisitely furnished in very tasteful style, with many antiques and original paintings, the villa has two beautiful terraces overlooking the gorgeous landscaped grounds where there is also a pretty gazebo. There is of course a private swimming pool immersed in the green oasis of the gardens. Perfect in every detail Villa Guelfi is extremely elegant, with immaculate grounds and all modern comforts provided.

The villa itself is built on the various levels. Its’ entrance, where there is a pretty outside terrace, leads to the ground level hallway, and to the beautifully decorated living areas of the villa, which are spacious and extremely comfortable. There is a large modern very well equipped kitchen, a beautiful cosy lounge with fireplace, and the exquisitely furnished main living room and the adjacent dining area, both of which have patio doors leading onto the large main terrace (80sqm) complete with sun shade, table and chairs for al fresco dining, and enjoying a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. On the same floor is a pretty washroom.

The first floor of the villa is equally elegant with four beautiful bedrooms each individually decorated and furnished in unique style, and three luxurious bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, walk in wardrobe, and ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. There are a further two gorgeous double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with bathtub, the other with hydro massage shower, and a fourth bedroom with lovely French bed for one person. The bathrooms are beautifully fitted with marble detailing, and three of the bedrooms have air conditioning.

Villa Guelfi is surrounded by beautifully maintained landscaped gardens filled with mature trees and flowers. There are plenty of areas for relaxing in the peace and tranquillity of the lovely grounds which are bordered by the estates olive groves and chestnut woods. There is pretty gazebo with table and chairs for dining al fresco, as well as barbecue and pizza oven, and a beautiful swimming pool (14m x 8m) in a wonderful position in the grounds.

Although immersed in wonderful gardens and beautiful surrounding countryside, amazingly Villa Guelfi is just 20 minutes drive away from the centre of the city of Florence with its gorgeous Renaissance architecture and many art treasures. Other Tuscan jewels such as Siena and San Gimignano are easily reached by car, as are the delights of the Chianti wine region. The main designer outlets are close by if you fancy a spot of shopping. The villa has resident caretakers who have a separate apartment underneath the house and meticulously take care of the gardens, pool and upkeep of the villa itself. Various extra facilities, such as laundry service and local chef are available on request (payable locally). Air conditioning and electricity costs are payable locally. Local food shops and amenities are just 5 minutes drive away in the nearby village of San Donato.

Villa Guelfi (7 persons) can be rented together with Villa Ghibellini (4 + 1 persons) another private villa with its own swimming pool on the same estate as Villa Guelfi to accommodate larger parties. Both villas share the same entrance driveway into the estate enclosed via electric gate.
