Six Bedroom Detached Villa Cortona

Villa Musa is a pretty detached villa in a convenient position just off a local road and within easy reach of the famous town of Cortona. The villa has its own large garden with lawns, and plenty of space for relaxing or dining al fresco, and there is a private kidney shaped swimming pool.

Villa Musa is actually divided into two apartments each with their own separate entrance and comfortably furnished in simple Tuscan country style with pretty pastel coloured walls so typical of the area. Each apartment actually has two levels. Apartment S has a pretty living room on the ground floor with settee, fireplace, dining table and chairs and kitchen area. On the same floor is a double bedroom (which can convert to a twin on request) which also has a single sofa bed to accommodate an extra person on request and a bathroom. Stairs lead to the upper floor which has mansard sloping ceilings where there are two more bedrooms and a shower room. One of the bedrooms has two single beds the other has a double bed (which can convert to a twin on request) and both share a little pretty connecting terrace with a view over the garden.

Apartment M is very similar with its living area also on the ground floor consisting of a kitchen area, dining table and chairs, settee and a fireplace. On the same level is a triple bedroom (which can be a double and a single bed or convert to three separate single beds on request) and a bathroom. Stairs lead to the upper floor which has mansard sloping ceilings where there are two more bedrooms and a shower room. One of the bedrooms has two single beds, (and a single sofa bed can be made available on request) the other has a double bed (which can convert to a twin on request).

Both of the apartments living areas have patio doors opening onto the covered loggia terrace and the lovely garden area where there is also a barbeque and table and chairs so perfect for dining al fresco. There is plenty of space for the whole party to relax both in the pretty grounds, shaded mature trees, and by the kidney shaped swimming pool (10m x 5m) which is private to the property.
Parking is in the grounds which are enclosed and secluded by a hedge.

There is a local shop just minutes drive up the road and a further selection of facilities at Foiano approximately 8 km away. The villa is excellently located for touring the area, Cortona a beautiful town and a joy to explore is close by, and Montepulciano, renowned for its excellent wine, as well as Pienza, famous for its pecorino cheese are within easy reach. Main road links are just 12 km away making Siena and Florence easily accessible and further afield is Lake Trasimeno and the delights of the region of Umbria.
