Villa La Torre is a gorgeous Tuscan Manor house in a beautiful position in the hills between Arezzo and Florence. This spacious villa is very comfortably furnished in country style and retains many original characteristics creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. There are plenty of terraces for dining al fresco and the private swimming pool in the garden is the perfect spot for relaxing whilst enjoying the fantastic views of the unspoilt countryside.

Built on a slope overlooking the valley, the villa has been beautifully renovated to a high standard and has three floors. The villas main entrance leads to the middle floor where there is a large and inviting living room which has comfortable settees, a lovely stone fireplace, satellite television and stereo with CD player. The living room opens onto a covered terrace which is furnished with a coffee table and easy chairs and enjoys a lovely view. On this floor there is also a double bedroom.

Upstairs is the top floor of the villa which consists of three pretty bedrooms, two with double antique beds, one with twin beds (which can convert to a double on request) and two shower rooms. Steps lead to the tower of the villa where there is a cosy attic bedroom with two single beds.

The lower floor which is reached by steps from the living room or by external access via the garden, houses a large country style eat in kitchen, and a shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped and a joy to cook in, it has a large dining table and chairs and opens onto a covered loggia terrace which is also furnished with a table and chairs and is the perfect spot for dining al fresco whilst enjoying the pretty view of the surrounding countryside framed though the arches. There is also a barbecue for guests use.

Surrounding the villa are spacious gardens with lawns, and in a lovely position above the house is a private swimming pool (10m x 5m) enjoying a beautiful view of the countryside and the ancient town of Poppi beyond. The pool is furnished with sun loungers and the attentive owners have added a wooden gazebo.

Villa La Torre is surrounded by rolling hills as far as the eye can see yet the picturesque town of Poppi with its supermarket, and good selection of shops and restaurants is just 4km away.

When you can tear yourself away from this idyllic spot there is much more to discover. The main art cities of Florence and Arezzo are within an hours’ drive, lovely local hill towns are a joy to leisurely explore, and road and rail links make the rest of Tuscany’s treasures easily accessible.
