Two Bedroom Apartment in Historic Centre of San Gimignano

Macie is a unique apartment, on the ground floor of an ancient building, originally used for olive pressing and oil storage. Now totally renovated, the original brick walls, ceilings and archways have been retained and characterise the living area. In front of the apartment is a little patio area with table and chairs and a much coveted parking space. The apartment is located in the historical town of San Gimignano, on one of the streets leading into the centre, so just a few minutes’ walk away from all this lovely town has to offer.

Apartment Macie is in a good location for enjoying to the full the sights and sounds of Italian life as located inside the historical town of San Gimignano, on one of the streets leading to the centre. The apartments little driveway, where it is possible to park a car, leads to the patio area in front of the entrance which opens directly into the living room. The living room itself retains the original cooling brick walls and has a kitchen area, dining table and chairs, settee and satellite television. There are two pretty bedrooms, one with a single bed and a single armchair bed and one with a double bed. Each bedroom has an ensuite shower room and windows facing towards the street (traffic in the historic centre is limited to residents only). There is also a washing machine for guests use.

The main historic centre of San Gimignano, and its wealth of monuments, craft shops and restaurants is only 5 minutes walk away and a real joy to explore. Many other wonderful sights of Tuscany such as Florence and Siena are within easy reach either by car or by local bus and train connections via Poggibonsi.

There is a parking space for one car. Alternatively you may drop off your luggage at the house, and cars can then be parked in one of the pay car parks outside the town walls.

Note: Properties in historic town centres may not be as modernized as other holiday rentals, due to strict renovation regulations to retain the original charm and characteristics of the buildings and their interiors.
