Castagneto Carducci

Villas and apartments in idyllic locations in Tuscany close to the Tuscany coast and its beaches.

The Tuscan coast is an ideal location for combining a holiday in the countryside whilst being close to the beautiful Tuscan coastline and its clear sea and wide stretches of sandy beaches, yet being within easy reach of all the beautiful towns and sights that the region of Tuscany has to offer. Many parts of the Tuscany coast are well known for their ‘Blue flag’ beaches specially awarded to areas with clean beaches and sea. There are many wide stretches of sandy beach in the region which are ideal for small children, and we have villas and apartments in these locations close to the sea and beaches. In the northern part of Tuscany are lovely resorts such as Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi which were both bathing spot for famous English poets such as Byron and Shelly and still today attract many famous visitors. Many of the beaches in the southern part of Tuscany are bordering on the areas nature reserves which can also be explored and are rich in history and interesting flora and fauna. Being close to the coast doesn’t mean that you are far away from Tuscany’s sights. Pisa is of course easy to reach and inland towns such as Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra to name but a few are within driving distance.
