Tuderte P1 is a pretty apartment in a beautiful stone house on a gorgeous Umbrian estate ideally situated in the valley close to the pretty hill town of Todi. The house is surrounded by gardens and shady spots with tables and chairs for relaxing or dining al fresco and there is a swimming pool enjoying a lovely panorama.

The estate consists a beautiful house and surrounding farm buildings which have been in the family for generations, and are now fully restored forming seven spacious apartments and two rooms. The houses are surrounded by pretty gardens with lawns and pots of flowers, where each apartment has an area with table and chairs for dining al fresco. In a lovely position in the grounds overlooking the verdant countryside is a pretty swimming pool (12m x 6m) and the attentive owners have added an indoor spa area with heated hydro massage tub, aromatherapy showers and sauna.

The apartments are comfortably furnished in Umbrian country style, with many original features such as beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and fireplaces being retained creating a warm and homely atmosphere, and the crafts of local artisans are apparent in the handmade wooden and wrought iron details throughout the interiors.

Tuderte P1, has its entrance via a few external steps, leading to its living room with kitchen area, dining table and chairs, beautiful central fireplace and sitting area with settee. There is a lovely bedroom and a shower room. The apartment has its own area in the garden furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco, and there is a barbecue in the grounds for guests use.

If required breakfast can be arranged locally and meals are also served on request. The estate in fact produces pasta made from their own wheat, as well as olive oil, pulses and wine, all of which are featured in the cooking and can be tasted and purchased locally. The lovely swimming pool in a pretty position overlooking the valley is the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity, and the indoor hydro massage tub and sauna are welcome little extras (payable locally).

The countryside surrounding the estate is also a joy to explore on foot. The location is a great base from which to explore Umbria, the beautiful town of Todi is just 10 minutes drive away (10km) and the regions excellent road links make visiting other equally beautiful towns easy. Perugia, famous for its monuments and chocolate, and Assisi, the home of Saint Francis are both well worth a visit, as are many other beautiful hill towns such as Spello and Spoleto to name but a few.
