Calidario G, one half of a detached restored barn, is situated on a lovely Umbrian estate immersed in the countryside with fine views all around. This pretty apartment is on two levels and has a warm and inviting atmosphere with characteristic beamed ceilings and wooden floors. Calidario G opens onto a paved terrace area with table and chairs for dining al fresco and there is a lovely swimming pool in the grounds perfect for relaxing and taking a cooling dip.

The Calidario estate, which consists of the main farmhouse and a detached barn is enclosed in its’ own grounds bordered by centuries old trees beyond which are verdant fields and rolling countryside. The estate in fact produces its own wine and olive oil as well as growing fruit and vegetables (available locally in season). The friendly owners also rear a wide variety of animals including sheep, cows and chickens and happily organise farm visits for children.

Calidario G, one half of the restored barn, is on two levels. The ground level has a nicely furnished open plan living room with fully equipped kitchen area, dining table and chairs, fireplace and sitting area with settee, armchair and satellite television. On the same floor is a double bedroom and a shower room. Stairs leads to a gallery floor where there is further bedroom area with double bed and a bathroom with hydro massage bathtub. Beamed ceilings and wooden floors create a homely atmosphere and locally crafted wrought iron and ceramic furnishings and turn of the century antique pieces provide pretty finishing touches.

Calidario G opens directly onto a terrace area furnished with table, chairs and umbrella for dining al fresco, and a few steps away is the lovely swimming pool which is situated between the barn and the main farmhouse. The pool (14m x 5m) is furnished with sun loungers and sun umbrellas and is surrounded by lawns with mature trees providing shade. In the well kept grounds of the estate there is also a barbeque for guests use.

The nearest village with local shops, bar and amenities is within walking distance (700m), as is the closest restaurant which is just 300m away. The location is a great base from which to explore Umbria, with the wonderful town of Perugia being just 20 minutes by car and many more of the regions treasures such as Assisi, Gubbio and Todi, to name just a few, all easily accessible via excellent road connections nearby. Even Florence and Rome can be visited in a day.
The other half of the barn houses Calidario U a sister apartment, which can be rented together with Calidario G for larger parties (See Calidario GU ). Further accommodation is also available in the main farmhouse.
