Colli is a pretty farmhouse immersed in unspoilt countryside surrounded by rolling hills and swaying wheat fields so typical of the area around the ancient town of Volterra. Colli R is a pretty apartment on the ground floor of the farmhouse comfortably furnished in Tuscan country style. The living area opens onto the apartments own area in the garden which is furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco. There is plenty more space to relax by the lovely swimming pool which enjoys pretty views of the countryside.

I Colli is a characteristic stone farmhouse surrounded by its own pretty grounds and land. The farmhouse houses just three apartments and a little studio, all retaining original features such as beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors. Each apartment has its own area in the garden with table, chairs and sun umbrella or gazebo, pretty spots for dining al fresco, and there is a barbecue for guests use. In a pretty position in the grounds is a lovely swimming pool (12m x 6m) surrounded by a sun terrace, lawns and furnished with sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The attentive owners have little ones in mind too, the pool is fenced and they have added a little outside play area with swings, as well as a ping pong table, boules and table football.

Colli R, on the ground floor of the house is spacious and comfortably furnished in country style retaining terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. It consists of a living room with kitchen area, dining table and chairs, settee (which can convert to a double bed on request to accommodate extra persons) and satellite television. There is a pretty bedroom with double bed and a shower room. The living room has patio doors opening onto the apartments own garden area, which is furnished with table, chairs and sun shade, the perfect spot for dining al fresco. Wi Fi internet connection is available and parking is in the grounds close by.

Apartment Colli R can also be rented together with Colli B an interconnecting studio apartment for up to 2 further persons (on request). A lovely welcome is offered by the owners, they provide a continental style breakfast the first morning of your stay and usually arrange a complimentary dinner for guests staying one week or more.

I Colli is just over 2 kms from the nearest little local village of Chianni, and there are further amenities in larger surrounding towns within about 15 minutes drive. The Etruscan city of Volterra is only half an hours’ drive away and is a lovely town to explore, boasting an interesting Etruscan museum, amphitheatre, and many craft shops with local alabaster products for which the town is famous. From this lovely location in the heart of the countryside many of Tuscany’s other sights are easily reached. Florence, Siena and San Gimignano are lovely days out, and the nearest beaches of the Tuscan coast are only about 45 minutes drive away, if a day by the sea entices you.
