Villa Berto B 8 is on two floors, is very tastefully furnished in elegant Tuscan style with many antiques and retaining original features. At the end of the downstairs corridor the stairs lead up to the first floor. Midway up a wide window offers a romantic view of the hills with a 16th century stone bell tower emerging in the distance. On the first floor there is a room with two single joinable beds (convertible in double room on request) with antique Florentine upholstered headboards with ensuite bathroom(accessed via a step) and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Villa Berto B 8 opens directly onto its’ own pretty garden furnished with gazebo, table and chairs and barbeque for dining al fresco. In the area below the garden a lovely private swimming pool (14m x 5,5m) for the exclusive use of guests staying at the cottage. Surrounded by lawns and furnished with sun loungers and sun umbrellas, the pool is perfect for enjoying cooling dip or just relaxing whilst savouring the lovely panorama of the verdant valley beyond

The grounds surrounding the estate are bordered by woods and olive groves, where you can enjoy lovely country walks and there are amazing views overlooking the plain of Lucca from many corners of the property. Inside the main cottage there are two other properties: The House where the owners live and (N ° 124 Villa Berto S), and there is also a large parking.

Although immersed in the countryside, the estate is about to 20 minutes drive from the lovely walled town of Lucca which is a joy to explore in itself and from which there are excellent motorway and rail links to other main towns. The local village, just 2 km away, has a grocers shop and bakery.

Pisa and Florence are within easy driving distance, as well as San Gimignano, Siena and the coastline of Versilia.
