Ravello is one of the most attractive destinations on the Amalfi Coast. Perched high on the hill above Amalfi, this wonderful little town has spectacular sea views all around and is famous for its two gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone which are open to the public. Wagner, found his inspiration for Parsifal in the gardens of Ravello and in his honour the Ravello Concert Society organizes a host of summer chamber music events throughout the summer. Close to Ravello there are many other towns to visit, on the opposite hill is beautiful Scala and way below Ravello is gorgeous Amalfi which for keen walkers can be reached on foot, the walk enjoys the most spectacular views of the Amalfi coast and azure Mediterranean sea beyond.
