The estate “Wind”, comprises the owners house Foresteria, built in the 17th century, and two newly restored buildings, Villa Wind and Cottage Wind O. Both are furnished in a very modern style, furnished in a very modern style and are eco friendly. Using solar panels, wood burning stoves and fan coil unit. The Cottage is positioned just below the villa. The ground floor comprises, a modern kitchen corner area, with table and chairs; and a living room area with sofa; wood burning stove and satellite TV. On request a small fold out bed or cot can be put in this room.
There is also a double bedroom, with direct access to the garden, and a bathroom with shower.

There are nine wooden stairs up to a twin bedroom (which can be converted to a double room on request) The cottage also has its own private swimming pool (4 m x 9 m ), with garden area, and a gazebo with table and chairs for dining alfresco.

Each bedroom in the Cottage has been designed to offer maximum comfort and luxury, with air conditioning, heating ( centrally controlled in the living room) and fly screens at the windows. There is also internal and external Internet WiFi connection.
In the adjacent building the owner has created a small restaurant.

The estate is in a truly magnificent position, only 400m from the centre of Medieval Cortona, yet immersed in the beautiful Tuscan hills, with wonderful views, and in a great location to enjoy the local produce. Easily reached by car are some of the beautiful Tuscan towns, cities and landmarks, such as Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and Lake Trasimeno. Not forgetting the cities of Perugia and Assisi in Umbria.

Cottage Wind O can be rented together with another private building, Villa Wind (8 up to 10 persons) with its own swimming pool on the same estate, to accommodate larger parties. Both buildings share the same gate but have a different driveway into the estate
