The Festival dei Due Mondi takes place in Spoleto every year, it’s a summer music and opera festival which is popular all over the world. There is a unique atmosphere and each year the Fendi foundation attributes to the great artists an award for their commitment in conveying art, knowledge and culture to the new generations.

In 2010 the Fendi foundation started restoring the ancient Teatro Caio Melisso which dates back to the 17th century and now serves as the main venue for opera performances during the annual summer festival.
