Sant'Agata: a town overlooking two gulfs
If you can’t decide between the gulf of Naples and the gulf of Salerno, Sant’Agata is the perfect choice since it lies on a hill between the two gulfs. It is a small town in Southern Italy and it has a very strategic position. In fact this wonderful small town has a spectacular sea view of the beautiful island of Capri and it is also near the two gorgeous towns of Positano and Amalfi.
You can admire both gulfs from the old monastery situated above the hill which is called “Il Deserto”. The monastery was founded in the seventeenth century and isn’t far from the city center, indeed you can reach it easily walking through Mediterrean vegetation. Sant’Agata is a truly magical location.
