The apartment is in a great location only a few steps from the beach and the bars and restaurants of this pretty seaside resort on the Tuscan coast. Castagneto NM is situated on the top (third) floor of an apartment building just off the main promenade and is reached by a lift or stairs. The ground level of the building houses shops and bars and the upper floors apartments.

Castagneto NM, which has a light and airy feel, is a one bedroom apartment with a connecting door to a studio apartment which can be used as either a second bedroom or further living area. So effectively the apartment has a living room with two armchairs (which can convert to two single beds on request), dining table and chairs, and kitchen unit, a triple bedroom, with a double bed and single bed, and a lovely shower room. A connecting door leads to a further living/sleeping area which has a double settee/bed, an armchair, a pouf bed (which can convert to a single bed on request), table and chairs, little kitchen unit and a separate shower room. In total the apartment opens onto three different balconies, all furnished with table and chairs and enjoying views of the beach and sea, perfect for enjoying a glass of chilled Tuscan wine whilst savouring the wonderful view, particularly beautiful at sunset. The apartment also has air conditioning and heating, as well as satellite television and washing machine.

A great advantage of Castagneto NM is its' proximity to the beach just 20m away, a door from the ground floor entrance hallway leads directly onto a free public beach, flanked on either side by areas with facilities where sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire. Marina di Castagneto also has good selection of restaurants, bars and shops running the length of the resort and along on the seafront, all accessible on foot. The apartment has a private parking space close to the building.

Although it's tempting to spend lazy days just sunbathing on the beach and swimming in the azure Mediterranean sea, there is plenty more to see and do in the area. Within easy driving distance there are many pretty local hill towns to visit, such as Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri , as well as nature parks and vineyards. Even the Island of Elba is easily accessible via the ferry port just half an hours' drive away and for the little ones close by is the 'Cavallino Matto' theme park.
